Past Simple: Regular and Irregular Verbs

Regular Verbs

Add -ed: play → played, walk → walked, study → studied.

Irregular Verbs

go → went, eat → ate, buy → bought, see → saw, come → came.

Negative

did not + base verb: I did not go. She did not eat.

Questions

Did + subject + base verb: Did you go? Did she eat?

Exercise

1. Write past form: play, study, go, eat, see, buy.
2. Complete: Yesterday I ___ (go) to school. She ___ (not watch) TV.
