Surah Al-Hadid Lessons and Reflections
Surah Al-Hadid is a Medinan surah that discusses faith charity and the relationship between this world and the Hereafter.
Introduction
Surah 57 29 verses. Named after iron which is mentioned in verse 25 as a source of strength.
Key Themes
Allahs power and sovereignty. The purpose of creation. Encouragement to spend in charity. The temporary nature of this world. Description of the believers and hypocrites.
Lessons
Faith must be accompanied by action and charity. This life is temporary. True success is in the Hereafter. Iron symbolizes strength and civilization.
