Phrasal Verbs: Common Phrasal Verbs
Phrasal verbs combine a verb with a preposition or adverb to create a new meaning.

| get up | wake up | I get up at 7 am. |
| look after | take care of | She looks after her sister. |
| give up | stop trying | Don’t give up! |
| turn on/off | start/stop device | Turn off the lights. |
| put on / take off | wear / remove | Put on your coat. |
| look for | search | I’m looking for my keys. |
