Countable and Uncountable Nouns
Nouns can be countable or uncountable in English.
Countable Nouns
Have plural forms. Use a/an, many, few. Example: one apple, many apples.
Uncountable Nouns
No plural form. Use much, little, some, any. Example: water, milk, rice, information.
Quantifiers
some + countable/uncountable: some chairs, some water.
many + countable: many students.
much + uncountable: much time.
a lot of + both: a lot of people, a lot of money.

1. Complete: “How ___ sugar?” “I have ___ friends.” “She doesn’t have ___ money.”
