Lesson: Personal Pronouns and Possessive Adjectives

1. Subject Pronouns
Subject pronouns replace the subject of a sentence (the person or thing doing the action).

2. Possessive Adjectives
Possessive adjectives show ownership or belonging. They come BEFORE a noun.

Important Notes
- Possessive adjectives DO NOT change for plural nouns: my book → my books.
- There is NO apostrophe in possessive adjectives: its (NOT it’s).
- Do NOT confuse its (possessive) with it’s (it is).

Summary
Subject pronouns (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) replace the subject of a sentence. Possessive adjectives (my, your, his, her, its, our, their) show possession and come before nouns. Memorise the pairs: I→my, you→your, he→his, she→her, it→its, we→our, they→their.
