The Weather and Seasons

Weather vocabulary helps you describe the conditions outside and plan your activities.

Seasons:

• Spring: March, April, May
• Summer: June, July, August
• Autumn/Fall: September, October, November
• Winter: December, January, February

Weather adjectives:

• Sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, snowy, foggy
• Hot, warm, cool, cold
• Dry, wet, humid

Questions and answers:

• What’s the weather like? → It’s sunny and hot.
• Is it raining? → Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.
• What’s the temperature? → It’s 25 degrees.
