Countable and Uncountable Nouns

Countable nouns

Things you can count. They have singular and plural forms.

• a book -> two books
• an apple -> three apples
• one student -> many students

Uncountable nouns

Things you cannot count. They have only one form.

• water, milk, rice, bread, information, music, homework

Quantifiers
