Writing about your dream job helps you practice expressing your ambitions and goals in English. It also helps you learn vocabulary related to professions and careers.

Example Paragraph

My Dream Job
“When I grow up, I want to be a doctor. I chose this profession because I love helping people and saving lives. To become a doctor, I need to study very hard, especially in science subjects like biology and chemistry. I also need to be patient, hardworking, and kind. After finishing high school, I will study medicine at university. I know it will be difficult, but I am ready to work hard to achieve my dream.”

Exercises

1. Write a paragraph (6-8 sentences) about your dream job.
2. Answer: Why do you want this job? What skills do you need? What will you study?
3. Interview a classmate about their dream job and write a short report.
4. Create a mind map of 5 different jobs with 3 qualities needed for each.
