Writing a Persuasive Essay
A persuasive essay aims to convince the reader to agree with your point of view. It presents arguments with evidence and logical reasoning.
Structure of a Persuasive Essay
1- Introduction: hook the reader, present the topic, state your thesis (opinion). 2- Body paragraph 1: first argument with examples/evidence. 3- Body paragraph 2: second argument with examples/evidence. 4- Body paragraph 3: address counter-arguments and refute them. 5- Conclusion: restate thesis, summarize arguments, call to action.
