Possessive Adjectives and Pronouns
Possessive forms show who owns something.
1. Possessive Adjectives
They go before a noun: my, your, his, her, its, our, their. This is my book. That is her pen.
2. Possessive Pronouns
They replace a noun + possessive adjective: mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs. This book is mine. That pen is hers.
3. Comparison
- Adjective + noun: This is my bag.
- Pronoun alone: This bag is mine.
4. Exercises
Complete: This is (I) _____ pen. This pen is (I) _____. (They) _____ house is big. This house is (they) _____.
