The Second and Third Conditional: Unreal Situations
Conditional sentences express imaginary or hypothetical situations. The second and third conditionals are essential for the BAC exam.
Second Conditional (Present Unreal)
If + past simple, would/could/might + infinitive: “If I had more money, I would travel.”
Third Conditional (Past Unreal)
If + past perfect, would/could/might have + past participle: “If I had studied, I would have passed.”
Exercises
