Like / Love / Hate + Verb-ing

To express preferences in English, we use verbs like like, love, enjoy, don’t like, hate followed by the gerund (-ing form).

1. Affirmative

I like reading. She loves swimming. They enjoy playing football.

2. Negative

I don’t like cooking. He hates getting up early.

3. Questions

Do you like dancing? Does she like travelling?
