BAC Revision: English Grammar Essentials — Articles, Prepositions, Quantifiers

Articles: a/an (indefinite, first mention), the (definite, specific). No article for general plural: “Cats are animals.”
Prepositions of time: at (hours, night, weekend), in (months, years, morning), on (days, dates).
Prepositions of place: at (point), in (enclosed), on (surface).
Quantifiers: some (positive, offers), any (negative, questions), much (uncountable), many (countable), a lot of (both).
Countable/Uncountable: Countable: book/books, a book. Uncountable: information, water, advice.
Comparatives: short adjectives: -er (bigger, taller). Long adjectives: more (more beautiful). Irregular: good→better, bad→worse.
Superlatives: the -est (the biggest), the most (the most beautiful).
Word order: Subject + Verb + Object + Place + Time. “I met John at school yesterday.”
