English — Writing: Describing a Person (appearance and personality) — 2nd Year Middle School — Algerian Curriculum
Learn to describe people. Appearance: tall/short, young/old, long/short hair, brown/blue eyes, glasses. Personality: kind, friendly, funny, intelligent, helpful, shy. Structure: introduce the person, describe appearance, describe personality. Use have/has got and verb to be.
Examples
Example: My best friend is Ali. He is tall and thin. He has got brown eyes and short black hair. He is very funny and helpful. I like him very much.
Exercises
Exercise 1: Describe your best friend (5 sentences).
Exercise 2: Use 3 adjectives for appearance and 3 for personality.
Exercise 3: Write a paragraph describing a family member.
