Subject and Object Questions

In English, we form questions differently depending on whether we ask about the subject or the object of the sentence.

1. Subject Questions

Ask about the subject (who/what + verb). No auxiliary needed.
Example: Who wrote this book? What happened?

2. Object Questions

Ask about the object (auxiliary + subject + verb).
Example: What did you write? Who did you meet?

Exercices

Make questions for: Ali wrote the letter. (Who?) I saw Sara. (Who?)
