Question words

• Who: for people. (Who is your teacher?)
• What: for things. (What is your name?)
• Where: for places. (Where do you live?)
• When: for time. (When is your birthday?)
• Why: for reasons. (Why are you late?)
• How: for manner. (How are you?)

How + adjective/adverb

• How much (price/uncountable): How much is it?
• How many (countable): How many books?
• How old: How old are you?
• How far: How far is the school?
