Grammar: Linking Words (and, but, or, so, because)
AND (addition): I like apples and oranges. BUT (contrast): I like coffee but I don’t like tea. OR (choice): Do you want tea or coffee? SO (result): I was tired, so I went to bed. BECAUSE (reason): I am happy because I won.
Exercise: Complete: I like maths __ I don’t like science. She studied __ she passed. Do you want pizza __ pasta?
