An opinion essay presents the writer s personal opinion on a topic and supports it with reasons and examples.

Structure

1. Introduction: Hook + present the topic + state your opinion (thesis statement)
2. Body paragraphs (2-3): Each paragraph presents one reason/argument with supporting examples
3. Conclusion: Restate opinion + summarise arguments + final thought
