Future Perfect Simple Tense
The Future Perfect Simple describes an action that will be completed BEFORE a certain time in the future. Structure: Subject + will have + past participle.
Example: “By next year, I will have finished middle school.” This means that before next year arrives, the action of finishing middle school will be complete.
Key time expressions: by, by the time, before, in + time period, by then.
Examples
- “She will have arrived by 8 PM.”
- “By 2027, they will have built the new school.”
- “I will have done my homework before you come home.”
- “Will you have finished by tomorrow?” (Question form: Will + subject + have + V3?)

Exercise 2: Rewrite: “I will finish my work. Then I will go out.” → By the time I go out, I _______________.
