Writing a Film Review

A film review shares your opinion about a movie you have watched.

Structure:

1. Title and director of the film
2. Genre (comedy, drama, action, horror, romantic, animated)
3. Plot summary (short, no spoilers)
4. Actors and acting quality
5. What you liked/disliked
6. Rating and recommendation

Useful vocabulary:

entertaining, boring, exciting, touching, funny, scary, well-acted, predictable, original, special effects

Example:

“I watched ‘The Lion King’ last weekend. It is an animated film about a lion named Simba. The animation is beautiful and the music is amazing. I loved it! I give it 5 stars.”

Exercise:
