Quantifiers: a little, a few, much, many

Quantifiers indicate the amount or quantity of something. They are used with countable and uncountable nouns.

1. Countable nouns

a few, many, several: a few books, many people, several ideas.

2. Uncountable nouns

a little, much, a great deal of: a little water, much time, a great deal of information.

3. Both countable and uncountable

some, any, no, a lot of, plenty of: some water, some books.
