Second Stage 665-689
Led by Uqba ibn Nafi. Founded Kairouan 670. Reached the Atlantic Ocean.
Third Stage 693-709
Led by Hassan ibn al-Numan and Musa ibn Nusayr. Defeated the Berber resistance of Kahina. Complete conquest of North Africa.
Results
