Prepositions of Time: In, On, At
Prepositions of time indicate when something happens. The most common are in, on, at.
At
Specific times: at 5 o clock, at midnight, at noon. The lesson starts at 8 am.
On
Days and dates: on Monday, on July 5th, on my birthday. She was born on March 15th.
In
Months, years, seasons, longer periods: in January, in 2024, in summer, in the morning. I was born in 2008.
Since and For
Since: starting point (since 2010, since Monday). For: duration (for two hours, for three years).
