Future Forms: Will, Going To, Present Continuous
Will
Spontaneous decisions, predictions (opinion), promises. Form: will + base verb.
- I’ll help you! (spontaneous)
- I think it will rain. (prediction)
- I will always love you. (promise)
Going to
Plans, predictions based on evidence. Form: am/is/are + going to + verb.
- We are going to visit grandparents. (plan)
- Look at those clouds! It’s going to rain. (evidence)
Present Continuous for future
Fixed arrangements. I am meeting my friend at 6 PM.

Choose the correct form:
- I promise I (will help / am going to help) you.
- She (is meeting / will meet) the doctor at 3 PM.
