Possessive Adjectives and Possessive ‘s
1. Possessive adjectives
I → my, you → your, he → his, she → her, it → its, we → our, they → their. This is my book. That is his car.
2. Possessive ‘s
Used for people and animals: Ahmed’s book = the book of Ahmed. The dog’s tail.
3. Rules
Singular: John’s car. Plural ending in s: the students’ books. Plural not ending in s: the children’s toys.
4. Exercises
Rewrite: The book of Ali → _____. The car of my father → _____. The house of my parents → _____.
