Relative Clauses
Introduction
Relative clauses give extra information about a noun. They start with relative pronouns: who, which, that.
Who (for people)
Ex: The boy who is sitting next to me is my friend.
Ex: I know a girl who speaks three languages.
Which (for things/animals)
Ex: The book which is on the table is mine.
Ex: I have a cat which is very funny.
That (for people/things)
Ex: This is the house that I bought.
Ex: The man that called you is my uncle.
Exercises
1. Join the sentences using who/which/that:
