Quantifiers: Some, Any, Much, Many, A lot of

Some / Any

Some: affirmative sentences and offers. Ex: I have some water. Would you like some tea?
Any: negative sentences and questions. Ex: I don’t have any money. Do you have any questions?

Much / Many

Much: uncountable nouns. Ex: How much water? Not much time.
Many: countable nouns. Ex: How many books? Many students.

A lot of / Lots of

Both countable and uncountable. Ex: A lot of people. Lots of food.
