Conditional Type 2 (Unreal Present)
Introduction
We use Conditional Type 2 to talk about unreal or imaginary situations in the present or future.
Formation
If + past simple, would + base verb
Ex: If I had a million dollars, I would travel around the world.
Ex: If she studied harder, she would pass the exam.
