Wh-Questions: Who, What, Where, When, Why, How
Wh-questions are used to ask for specific information. They start with a question word.
1. Question Words
- Who: for people. Who is your teacher?
- What: for things/actions. What is your name?
- Where: for places. Where do you live?
- When: for time. When is your birthday?
- Why: for reason. Why are you late?
- How: for manner. How are you?
2. Word Order
Wh-word + auxiliary + subject + verb? Where do you live? What is she doing?
3. Exercises
