Countable Nouns
\n
Countable nouns are things we can count. They have a singular and plural form. Examples: one apple, two apples; one book, three books; one student, ten students. We use “a” or “an” with singular countable nouns: a book, an orange.

Uncountable Nouns
\n
Uncountable nouns are things we cannot count individually. They usually have no plural form. Examples: water, milk, rice, bread, sugar, information, homework, music. We never use “a” or “an” with uncountable nouns. Instead, we say “some water” or “a glass of water”.
