Superlative Adjectives: The Best, The Most Beautiful
Superlatives compare one thing to all others in a group. Short adjectives: the + adjective + est (the tallest, the biggest, the happiest). Long adjectives: the most + adjective (the most beautiful, the most interesting). Irregular: good→the best, bad→the worst, far→the farthest/furthest, little→the least. Examples: Mount Everest is the highest mountain. She is the best student in the class. This is the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. Prepositions: in (in the class, in the world), of (of all, of them). Common phrases: at least, at best, at worst.
