Daily Routines and Telling the Time
1. Daily routine vocabulary
Wake up, get up, have breakfast, brush teeth, take a shower, get dressed, go to school, have lunch, do homework, watch TV, have dinner, take a bath, go to bed.
2. Telling the time

- 5:00 – five o’clock
- 5:15 – quarter past five / five fifteen
- 5:30 – half past five / five thirty
- 5:45 – quarter to six / five forty-five
- 5:10 – ten past five / five ten
- 5:50 – ten to six / five fifty
3. Using time with daily routines
I wake up at 6:30. I have breakfast at 7:00. I go to school at 7:30. I have lunch at 12:00.
4. Frequency adverbs with routines
I always brush my teeth in the morning. I usually do homework at 5pm. I often watch TV after dinner. I sometimes play football. I never go to bed late.
5. Exercises
Exercise 1: Write your daily routine (at least 6 sentences with times).
Exercise 2: Write the time: 7:15, 8:30, 12:45, 3:00.
Exercise 3: Describe what you do every day using frequency adverbs.
