Present Perfect Tense: Formation and Uses

1. Formation

Subject + have/has + past participle (V3). I have seen, she has eaten.

2. Uses

Experience: I have visited Paris. Unfinished actions: She has lived here for 5 years. Past with present result: I have lost my keys.

3. Signal words

ever, never, just, already, yet, for, since, recently.

4. Difference with Past Simple

Past Simple: specific time (yesterday, last week). Present Perfect: no specific time.
