English — Grammar: Possessive Adjectives (my, your, his, her, its, our, their) — 2nd Year Middle School — Algerian Curriculum
Possessive adjectives show ownership. My (I), your (you), his (he), her (she), its (it), our (we), their (they). They come before nouns. Examples: my book, your pen, his car, her house, its tail, our school, their garden. Do not confuse: its vs it is (it is = contraction).
Examples
Example 1: This is my book. That is your pen.
Example 2: His father is a teacher. Her mother is a doctor.
Example 3: We love our school. They like their teacher.
