Relative Pronouns: Who, Which, That
Relative pronouns introduce relative clauses that give more information about a noun.
Who
Used for people.
Example: The girl who is sitting there is my sister.
Which
Used for animals and things.
Example: The book which is on the table is mine.
That
Used for people, animals, and things (informal).
Example: This is the house that I bought.

- The teacher who teaches English is very kind.
- The car which is red belongs to my father.
- The film that we watched was amazing.
Exercises
- Fill: The man ___ lives next door is a doctor.
- Combine: I have a dog. It is very friendly. → I have a dog which is very friendly.
