Past Simple Tense (2nd Year MS)

Regular verbs

Add -ed: play -> played, walk -> walked, study -> studied.

Irregular verbs

go -> went, eat -> ate, see -> saw, buy -> bought, take -> took, write -> wrote.

Negative

Subject + didn t + verb: I didn t go. She didn t eat.

Question

Did + subject + verb: Did you go? Did she eat?
