Nouns can be singular or plural. Regular plurals add s or es.
Regular plurals
- Add s: book – books, pen – pens
- Add es (after s, sh, ch, x, o): box – boxes, bus – buses
- y -> ies: baby – babies
Irregular plurals
- man – men
- woman – women
- child – children
- foot – feet
- tooth – teeth
- mouse – mice
