Future with Will
Introduction
We use “will” to talk about the future: predictions, promises, offers, and decisions made at the moment of speaking.
Formation
Subject + will + base verb
Negative: Subject + won’t + base verb
Question: Will + subject + base verb?
Uses
1. Predictions: I think it will rain tomorrow.
2. Promises: I will help you with your homework.
3. Offers: I will carry your bag for you.
4. Instant decisions: The phone is ringing. I will answer it.
Exercises
1. Complete: I ___ (call) you later.
2. Make negative: She will come to the party. → ___
3. Ask a question: they / arrive / soon? → ___
4. Write 3 predictions about the future.
