Comparative and Superlative Adjectives

Formation

Short adjectives (1-2 syllables): add -er / -est. tall -> taller -> tallest. big -> bigger -> biggest. happy -> happier -> happiest.

Examples

Ali is taller than Samir. This book is the most interesting. She is the best student in class.
