Expressing Opinion: Phrases and Structures

Expressing opinions is a key skill for the BAC. Learn useful phrases to state your views, agree, and disagree politely.

Stating Your Opinion

• In my opinion… / I believe that…
• As far as I am concerned… / From my point of view…
• I think/feel/believe that…

Agreeing

• I agree completely. / Thats absolutely true.
• You are right. / I couldnt agree more.

Disagreeing Politely

• Im afraid I disagree. / I see your point, but…
• Thats a good point, however…
• I dont think thats entirely correct.
