Types of Media

- Social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
Key Vocabulary
- Journalist: a person who writes news articles
- Editor: a person who checks and corrects texts before publication
- Reporter: a journalist who reports news from the field
- Headline: the title of a news article
- Article: a piece of writing in a newspaper or magazine
- Column: a regular article by a particular writer
- Broadcast: to transmit a programme on TV or radio
- Live: broadcast as it happens, not recorded
