Too and Enough: Usage Rules
Too and enough indicate degree. Too means ‘more than necessary’, enough means ‘sufficient’.
1. Too + adjective
The coffee is too hot (to drink). She is too young (to drive).
2. Adjective + enough
He is tall enough (to reach the shelf). The water is warm enough (to swim).
3. Enough + noun
I have enough money. There isn’t enough time.
