Present Simple

Used for habits and facts: I wake up at 6am every day. Water boils at 100 degrees.

Present Continuous

Used for actions happening now: I am reading a book right now. She is sleeping.

Key Words

• Present Simple: always, usually, often, sometimes, never, every day.
• Present Continuous: now, right now, at the moment, today.

Exercise

2. Correct: He is going to school every day. I am wanting a drink.
