1. Classroom Objects Vocabulary: desk (طاولة), chair (كرسي), board (سبورة), chalk (طباشير), door (باب), window (نافذة), book (كتاب), notebook (كراس), pen (قلم جاف), pencil (قلم رصاص), ruler (مسطرة), eraser/rubber (ممحاة), bag (حقيبة), sharpener (مبراة), glue (غراء), scissors (مقص).

2. Using A and An: Use ‘a’ before consonant sounds: a book, a pen, a desk, a ruler, a chair. Use ‘an’ before vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u): an eraser, an orange, an apple. Practice: a pencil ✓, an pencil ✗.

3. This is / These are: ‘This is’ for ONE object (singular): This is a book (هذا كتاب). ‘These are’ for MORE than one object (plural): These are books (هذه كتب). Pay attention to singular and plural forms.

4. Plural Forms: Most nouns add -s: pen → pens, book → books. Nouns ending in -sh, -ch, -s, -x add -es: pencil case → pencil cases, box → boxes.
