The Simple Present Tense
We use the simple present tense to talk about habits and daily routines.
Affirmative: I/You/We/They + verb. He/She/It + verb-s/es
- I wake up at 6:00.
- He wakes up at 6:00.
- She goes to school by bus.
Negative: I/You/We/They + don’t + verb. He/She/It + doesn’t + verb
- I don’t watch TV in the morning.
- He doesn’t play football on weekdays.

My name is Ahmed. I wake up at 6:00 every day. I have breakfast at 6:30, then I go to school. My mother prepares lunch at 12:00. After school, I do my homework. In the evening, I watch TV for one hour. I go to bed at 9:00.
