Grammar: Personal Pronouns (Subject and Object) (1st Year Middle School)
Introduction
Personal pronouns replace nouns to avoid repetition. There are two types: subject pronouns (before the verb) and object pronouns (after the verb).
Subject Pronouns

Examples: I am a student. She is nice. They play football.
Object Pronouns

Examples: Please call me. I see her every day. Give it to them.
Exercises
- Replace the nouns with subject pronouns: (a) John is tall. → ___ is tall. (b) The cats are black. → ___ are black.
- Replace with object pronouns: (a) I see Mary. → I see ___. (b) Call John and Peter. → Call ___.
- Fill in: (a) ___ (She/Her) is my sister. (b) I love ___ (he/him).
