Comparison of Adjectives

Comparative

Short adjectives: adj+er + than (taller than). Long adjectives: more + adj + than (more beautiful than).

Superlative

Short: the + adj+est (the tallest). Long: the most + adj (the most beautiful).

Irregular

good -> better -> the best. bad -> worse -> the worst. far -> farther/further -> the farthest/furthest.

Exercise

Complete: She is (tall) than her sister. This is (interesting) book.
