Either, Neither, Both, Each, Every

These determiners are used to talk about two or more things or people.

Both

Refers to two things together. Both students passed. Both of them are intelligent.

Either

One or the other of two. Either book is fine. You can choose either.
Either…or: Either you come or I leave.

Neither

Not one nor the other. Neither answer is correct. Neither of them came.
Neither…nor: Neither John nor Mary was there.

Each

Every one individually. Each student has a book. Each of them received a prize.

Every

All members of a group. Every student passed the exam.
