Colors (الألوان)

Learning Objectives:

• To recognize the names of basic colors in English.
• To say the colors of objects around us.

Let’s Learn Colors!

Red = أحمر
Blue = أزرق
Yellow = أصفر
Green = أخضر
Black = أسود
White = أبيض
Orange = برتقالي
Pink = وردي
Purple = بنفسجي
Brown = بني

Examples:

The sun is yellow.
The sky is blue.
The apple is red.
The grass is green.
The cat is black.

Activity (نشاط):

Look around you. Find something red, something blue, and something yellow. Say them in English! (انظر حولك. ابحث عن شيء أحمر وشيء أزرق وشيء أصفر. قل أسماءها بالإنجليزية!)

Home Activity (نشاط منزلي):

Color a rainbow and write the name of each color in English. (لون قوس قزح واكتب اسم كل لون بالإنجليزية.)
