Describing Daily Routines
Use the present simple tense to describe habits and daily routines.
Structure
I/You/We/They + verb: “I wake up at 7 AM.” He/She/It + verb-s: “She wakes up at 7 AM.”
Common routine verbs
wake up, get up, have breakfast, go to school, study, have lunch, come home, do homework, watch TV, have dinner, go to bed.
Example
“I wake up at 7 AM. I have breakfast and then I go to school. I study until 4 PM. After school, I do my homework and watch TV. I go to bed at 10 PM.”
